Event description:
This two-day class will introduce the student to the basic fundamentals of fixed time traffic control. The student will be shown a basic cabinet wiring set up for a 2 phase, 2 ped signalized intersection. Data entry exercises will include utility data, signal plan data, unit data, coordination data, time base data, preemption data, actuated control data and controller assembly set up. This is a hands-on workshop. Prerequisite: Introductory Controller Class 128 I.M.S.A. TARP points applies to Traffic Signals

Training Overview

Classes are offered free of charge for the training, materials, lunch, and breaks. Arrangements for students requiring overnight lodging are the responsibility of the student or his/her employer; please contact our office for a list of local hotels that have special rates.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will be contacted approximately two weeks before the start of your class to confirm your attendance.

Registration the first day of class will be at 8:30 AM with class starting at 9:00 am. Start time for the 2^nd (3^rd) day of multiple day classes is 8:30 AM. Classes typically finish around 3:30 PM.
