Event description:

This one-day course is for engineers and construction personnel involved in roadside safety.  This program will discuss various roadside safety issues including clear zones, lighting and obstructions.  The training program will guide the student in applying various attenuator systems to protect roadway hazards.  Emphasis is placed on the design and functional application of the various systems including problem solving and recommended solutions.  The maintenance portion of the training will include demonstrations with Energy Absorption TMA's and permanent units.  This is both a hands on and lecture workshop.

Training Overview

Classes are offered free of charge for the training, materials, lunch, and breaks.  Arrangements for students requiring overnight lodging are the responsibility of the student or his/her employer; please contact our office for a list of local hotels that have special rates.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis.  You will be contacted approximately two weeks before the start of your class to confirm your attendance.

Registration the first day of class will be at 8:30 AM with class starting at 9:00 am. Start time for the 2nd (3rd) day of multiple day classes is 8:30 AM.  Classes typically finish around 3:30 PM.
