Event description:

This two-day seminar will introduce the student to the various components that are required for a complete wireless traffic detection system.  The training will include the functions and operation of the vehicle sensors, access point and repeater modules.  Students will be shown how to program the wireless detection system to optimize traffic detection.  It is recommended that students bring their laptops to class.  This is a lecture and hands-on workshop.  The class will be taught by a manufacturer’s representative from the Sensys Corporation.

 

Prerequisite:  Agency staff currently maintaining and installing Sensys systems

Training Overview

Classes are offered free of charge for the training, materials, lunch, and breaks.  Arrangements for students requiring overnight lodging are the responsibility of the student or his/her employer; please contact our office for a list of local hotels that have special rates.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis.  You will be contacted approximately two weeks before the start of your class to confirm your attendance.

Registration the first day of class will be at 8:30 AM with class starting at 9:00 am. Start time for the 2nd (3rd) day of multiple day classes is 8:30 AM.  Classes typically finish around 3:30 PM.
