Event description:

This one-day session will familiarize the student with functions and operations of accessible pedestrian pushbutton systems.  Requirements of the MUTCD for operation and location of accessible pedestrian systems will be discussed.  Installation and set ups of the systems will be presented.  This is a lecture seminar and will be conducted by a representative from Polara Engineering.

Prerequisite:  None

Training Overview

Classes are offered free of charge for the training, materials, lunch, and breaks.  Arrangements for students requiring overnight lodging are the responsibility of the student or his/her employer; please contact our office for a list of local hotels that have special rates.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis.  You will be contacted approximately two weeks before the start of your class to confirm your attendance.

Registration the first day of class will be at 8:30 AM with class starting at 9:00 am. Start time for the 2nd (3rd) day of multiple day classes is 8:30 AM.  Classes typically finish around 3:30 PM.
